This week’s Work On Your Game Wednesday, we are going over how to improve your strength, explosiveness and quickness by adding in the kettlebell swing into your strength training program
Women’s college basketball is in full swing with practices and the first games are a little over two weeks away. High school girls basketball will start before or after Thanksgiving, so we have about 4 weeks left for pre season basketball.
This is the time to push yourself (girl basketball players) in the weight room to get stronger, more explosive, quicker, but also build a strong movement foundation so we can prevent injuries especially ACL’s
The hip hinge is a basic fundamental movement that all girl basketball players need to master. The hip hinge is very similar to a defensive stance, so to say that hip hinging is important, is an understatement.
Monday, I went over the baseline hip hinge movement, the Kettlebell Deadlift.
Today, I go through The Kettlebell Swing – the video I am sharing is part of The Complete Women’s Basketball Strength and Conditioning Program, that I am releasing on Monday, October 30th.
So be on the look out for the product launch on Monday or you can Click Here to sign up for the VIP Launch List or just watch the trailer video 🙂
